Am I the only person who doesn't see the point in these dockless schemes?

If you need to get from A to B for a meeting, whatever, then surely it is better to have your own bike/scooter which you can just jump on and go rather then searching around for a possible poorly maintained machine that someone has just tossed somewhere?

And then there is the littering of the urban landscape with these abandoned machines.

Be interesting to hear if anyone uses dockless scooters/bikes for serious transportation.
