There is trans and there is gender-non-conforming. These are not the same. In fact they are somewhat antagonistic.

The gender-non-conforming community believes that they should be allowed to behave in ways not generally associated with their sex.

For the trans community there is such a thing as a male brain and a female brain and the body must be aligned to it, even to the extent of significant medical intervention.

For a young gender-non-conforming person, under the current dominant trans ideology they are likely to be told that they are trans and put on the path to medical intervention.

So the two groups are mutually antagonistic, it is no surprise that they do not get on.
