Is there supposed to be some sort of equivalence between

Trump looked for quid pro quo deals with the Russians (plausible)

and

Hilary Clinton eats children in order to gain immortality (implausible)

Being educated means being able to assess relative probabilities even if one does not arrive at absolute certainty.
