What is my problem with this anti-christian stuff? (BTW I am an atheist). The problem is that all evil is blamed on religion (perhaps allowing the blamer to regard themselves as superior).

The 'Doctrine of discovery' is a standard attitude adopted by humans who have the power to dominate and want to do so. It has nothing to do with religion at all.

In the standard ancient religion the rich were considered more holy, closer to god, than the poor. The evidence was right there in the fact that they were rich - right? Christianity came to the opposite conclusion - it was a slave's religion - making it interesting.

Jesus Christ was, of course, not the son of god but just a guy trying to do the right thing - and much of his teachings are pretty good! Lets hear it for secular christianity!
